SAFF U-15 Women’s: Bangladesh to play Pakistan Thursday

Holders Bangladesh U-15 Women’s Football team will start their champions mission in the six-nation SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship taking on debutante Pakistan on Thursday at 7 pm (local time) in one of the two opening day match at Changlingmithan Stadium in Thimphu.

Last year’s finalist India, which was placed in Group A with Sri Lanka and hosts Bhutan, will play Sri Lanka, which are playing the championship for the first time, in the other opening day match on Thursday at 4 pm at the same venue.

Bangladesh, which was put in Group B of the six-nation meet along with Pakistan and Nepal, will play Nepal on August 13, also at 7 pm (local time) in the remaining group match, also at the Changlingmithang Stadium.

Bangladesh U-15 Women’s Football Team will wear GREEN- GREEN-GREEN Jersey in their first Match of the SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship 2018 against Pakistan as per decision of Match Co-ordination Meeting (MCM).

Ahead of the match against Pakistan, Bangladeshi players made an intensive training session at the games venue Changlingmithang Stadium Wednesday morning for about one and half hour, according to a message received from Bangladesh Football Federation Wednesday evening.

The morale and confidence level of Bangladeshi girls are now very high as they are already adjusted with local condition and high attitude, and are fully prepared to fight against Pakistan in their first match on Thursday.
