Bangladesh men’s recurve team comprising of Mohammad Ruman Shana, Mohammad Tamimul Islam and Hakim Ahmed Rubel clinched the gold medal in the team event of archery competition in the 13th South Asian Games at Pokhara Stadium, Nepal on Sunday.
The Bangladeshi archers beat Ravien Kavisha Dalpatadu, Sajeev De Silva and Kumara Herath of Sri Lanka in the final.
Earlier, Bangladesh beat Nepal by 6-0 set points in their semifinal.
This was Bangladesh’s 8th gold medal in the ongoing meet.
