President Md Abdul Hamid returned home from Singapore on Tuesday night after his medical check-up there.
A regular flight of Singapore Airlines carrying the President landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:30 pm, said President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Dean of Diplomatic Corps in Bangladesh, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office, chiefs of three services and civil and military high officials received the President at the airport.
President Abdul Hamid went to Singapore on February 22 for treatment.
During the six-day visit, Hamid underwent a health check-up at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and eye treatment at Singapore National Eye Centre.
President’s wife Rashida Khanom and officials concerned of the President accompanied him during the tour.unb
