None involved in crime to be spared during Hasina rule: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Wednesday said no criminal involved in crimes would be spared during the regime of Awami League as the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has proclaimed zero tolerance against drug and militancy.

The minister came up with the warning while addressing as a chief guest a rally against militancy and narcotics addiction organised by Tangail Citizen Committee at Shaheed Memorial Municipality in the city in the afternoon.

“Bangladesh has been highly praised by global community for curbing militancy precisely under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” said the Home boss.

Tangail Citizen Committee convener and Tangail district Awami League general secretary Advocate Joaherul Islam presided over the programme where district Awami League president Fazlur Rahman Khan Faruk, lawmaker Sanowar Hossain, Tangail municipality mayor Jamilur Rahman Miron, DIG of Dhaka range Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun PPM and Home Ministry secretary Farid Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury were also present on the occasion.
