The three-day 37th National Rabindra Sangeet Summit ended here on Sunday.
The closing ceremony was held at Nilphamari Govt High School playground in the afternoon where at least 300 singers and artistes took part with Jatiyo Rabindra Sangeet Sammelon Parishad (JRSSP) President Dr Sanjida Khatun in the chair.
JRSSP general secretary Bulbul Islam, Niphamari unit member secretary Dr Mujibul Hasan Chowdhury Shahin and district Awami League President Kamal Ahmed were present at the closing ceremony.
Earlier on Friday, Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor inaugurated the event organised by the parishad.
The summit featured different cultural activities such as recitation, singing and dancing, paying tributes to the martyrs at the Shaheed Minar and presenting the Rabindra Award.unb
