Mumbai Chess: Shakil drops point with Jain Nityata

Bangladeshi IM Abu Sufian Shakil dropped points with Jain Nityata of India as the 2nd round match of the IILF 3rd International Mumbai Chess Tournament between them ended in draw in Mumbai on Sunday.

After the 2nd round matches, Shakil earned 1.5 points while two other Bangladesh players GM Ziaur Rahman and M Masum Rahi earned one point each. Another Bangladesh player M Abul Kashem is yet to open the account.

In the 2nd round matches on Sunday, GM Zia drew with Surendran of India, M Masum Rahi lost to SK Kanishk of India and Kashem lost to Bang Atharba of India.

The 3rd round matches of the IIFL School Chess Under-13 tournament also held at the same place on Monday where Tahsin of Bangladesh played to draw with Shaik Sumer Arsh of India.unb
