Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narenda Modi had a bilateral meeting on Sunday night in Goa discussing many issues of development.
“Bangladesh will remain beside India and vice versa for the sake of development,” Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque told reporters after the meeting.
The Indian Prime Minister highly appreciated the anti-terrorism stance of Bangladesh government.
PM Hasina informed the Indian Prime Minister about people’s awarenss regarding her government’s anti-terrorism stance.
“Awareness against terrorism is being created from the family level as the Imams of mosques are talking about the darkness of terrorism,” Sheikh Hasina had told Modi.
Modi has assured his Bangladesh counterpart to resolve all problems with ‘united efforts’.
