Bangladesh has sought continued support from Indonesia for early solution to Rohingya crisis.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen sought the support when his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi phoned him on Wednesday congratulating him on his appointment as the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh.
The Indonesian Foreign Minister expressed conviction that the friendly relations between Bangladesh and Indonesia will be augmented further based on mutual understanding and respect in the years ahead, said the Foreign Ministry here on Thursday.
Foreign Minister Marsudi visited Bangladesh in 2016 and 2017 and discussed the Rohingya issue with Bangladesh leadership.
